Wednesday morning at 06:16 the station along with Ladder and Engine from Station 44 were dispatched for the residential structure fire at 680 E Radison Run in Huntington Mills. Engine 45-3 w/5, Firefighter Joe Jones arrived with a 2 story single family home with nothing evident, established a water supply and stretched a line. Quint 45 w/4, Chief Wes Davis arrived behind the engine and took the first due special services. They were followed by Ladder 44 and Engine 45-4 w/5, Lt. Jonathan Burnett. Those units took the second due engine and ladder assignments. Engine 44-3 also responded. Crews found a strong odor of something burning in the structure and began searching for the cause. The cause was determined to be an issue with the HVAC. Chief davis had the Clayton Command. Clayton had 21 members respond on the call. Units responding Engines 45-3, 45-4, 44-3, Quint 45, Ladder 44.
