The Officers and Members of our company are offer their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Firefighter Nathan Flynn of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services on his passing this morning after being injuried in a house fire overnight. Firefighter Flynn who is a paid firefighter with Howard county becomes the first paid firefighter to be killed in the line of duty in the departments history. Firefighter Flynn was injuried when he fell through the floor into the basement while fighting the fire. He was rescued by fellow firefighters and transported to the hospital where he passed a short time later from his injuries. We ask that you please keep Firefighter Flynn, his family, friends and members of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services during this difficult time.
