The memebrs of the company join a nation that again stops to remember the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 at the WTC in New York, The Pentagon in Washington DC and Shansville Pa. On that day almost 3,000 lost their lives on the attack on our country. Of that almost 3,000 people that died 343 memebrs of the FDNY, 37 memebrs of the PAPD and 23 Members of the NYPD perished while attempting to rescue people from the WTC. The company will be again attending the Smyrna/Clayton Annual 9/11 Memorial Service to be held at the Citizens Hose Company on w. Commerce St. at 7pm this evening. The public is invited to attend this event. That day we took a pledge to Never Forget and we hope the peole of the United States never do.
