Monday evening December 2nd at 10:21pm the station along with Ladder Company 44, Tanker Company 26, Tanker Company and Rescue KCMD Sta 2, Ambulance 64 and KM6 were dispatched for the Large None Dwelling Structure Fire at Millington Road and Longridge Road. Responding units were advised that 911 was recieving several calls and the updated the address would be 3833 Millington Road. Command 45 w/Assistant Chief Joe Jones arrived to find a 20'x20' work shop involved with exposure to a one story single family home. Chief Jones was followed closely by Engine 45-2 w/5, Captain Jonathan Burnett and Quint 45 w/4, Chief Alex Carrow. The engine crew secured a water supply and stretched a line while the crew from the ladder searched the residence and checked for extension. Those units were followed by Engine 45-3 w/4, Assist Chief Jeff Lightcap, Rescue 45 w/5, Deputy Chief John Pridemore, Ladder Co. 44, Tanker Co. 26 & KCMD 2 and EMS units. An additional handline was stretched to assist with extinquishment and overhaul. The fire was contained to the workshop. The fire is being investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshals Office. Assistant Chief Jones had the command. Units responding; Command 45, Engines 45-2, 45-3, 44-3, KCMD 2, SQ 26, Quint 45, Ladder 44, Tanker 26, KCMD 2, Rescue 45, B-64, KM6, FM-28 (Brode).
