Sunday evening at 9:39pm the station along with local EMS assets were dispatched for the auto accident with a vehicle overturned in the 1800 block of Blakcbird Forrest Road. Rescue 45 w/6, Capt Austin Moorhead arrived along with EMS assets to find a vehicle on its side with the lone occupant having self extricated himself. EMS units admninistered patient care while the crew from recue secured the vehicle. The occupant was transported to Bayhealth - Kent on A-64 along with KM6A. Command 45 w/ Deputy Chief JOhn Pridemore, Engine 45-3 w/4, Asst. Chief Joe Jones and Brush 45 w/4, Chief Alex Carrow made the response also. Deputy Chief Pridemore had the command.
