Saturday morning at 05:17 the station along with Rescue 44, Ambulance 64, KM6, KM5 and Trooper 4 were dispatched for the auto accident with a subject reporteed trapped at Wheatleys Pond Road and Hunting Drive. Command 45 w/ AC Jeff Lightcap, Rescue/Engine 45 w/6, Chief Alex Carrow and Squad 45 w/4 Past Chief Rodney Whalen arrived with EMS assets to find a vehicle vs a pole with the operator out of the vehicle. Medical crews handled patient care while the crews form RE 45 and Rescue 44 checked the area for a possible 2 victim and secured the vehicle. The operator was transported to a local ER for treatment by B-64. AC Lightcap had the command. The roadway remained closed for an extended period of time while the electric department fixed the pole.
