Thursday afternoon at 4:03pm the station was alerted for the Engine and Ladder along with Tanker 53 to Assist Sta 44 on the non dwelling structure fire on Shorty Ln in Smyrna Landing. Tower 45, w/4 and Engine 45 w/5 arrived to find Smyrna units with 2 lines in service on a shed on fire with exposure to an additional structure. Both crews assisted with overhaul until released by Asst. Chief Newnam who had the Smyrna Command. Clayton also responded to 4 other calls for the day; An MVC involving a motorcycles at School Ln & Wheatleys Pond Rd at 11:42am, a Ladder Cover Up to Dover Fire Department at 1:37pm, a Cardiac Arrest on Wheatleys Pond Rd at 5:26pm and a Gas Leak in Smyrna at 5:32pm.
