REMEMBERING PAST CHIEF JOHN M. PRIDEMORE
Sunday, March 8, 2026

On the 4th anniversary of the passing on Past Chief John M. Pridemore, on March 8, 2022, the company pauses to remember his passing.  Chief Pridemore was severely injuried in a fall in the station during a work detail  on March 7, 2022.  He passed away in the line of duty the follwing day.  Chief Pridemore's memory is with us everyday as we go about our duties.  His legacy and his commitment to the company and his community will live on longer after those that knew him are gone.  The pain of his passing hurts as much today as it did 4 years ago.  Each year since his passing the company has placed a wreath in his memory at the memorial at the front of the station.  We will dedicate ourselves to try to follow in Chief Pridemores example that he made everyday.  Chief, we miss you and promise you we will "Never Forget" your service to the company and community, til we meet again.
