James R. "Robbie" Johnson joined the company as a Junior Member in April of 1990.  He quickly asserted himself as a leader in the company as he began serving as a Line Officer as a Lieutenant from 1993-1996, Captain 1997-2000 & 2011, Assistant Chief 2001-2003 and 2016 & 2017 and Fire Chief from 2012-2014.  He has also held administrative positions of Fire Recorder 1992-1993 and a Director 1997-1998.  Past Chief Johnson was awarded the Firefighter of the Year in 2002.  Away from the fire station Past Chief Johnson loves spending time with his wife - Karen, their son - Brandon & his wife Shawna, their son Jaxon, their daughter - Brooke, her husband Jimmy and their children Sophia & Wesley.  He especially enjoys spending time with the family around their pool.
